FUEL FILTERS Updated 3-21-08
Many FCCC RV applications have TWO FUEL FILTERS except as noted below:
Note - Most FCCC chassis built from Jan. 2000 thru Dec. 2003 only have ONE fuel filter (plus a fuel strainer IF you have the Cummins ISB02). All other chassis prior to Jan. 2000 and after Jan. 2004 have a primary water/separator fuel filter (either a 10 or 30 micron) and a secondary engine fuel filter (usually 2 microns). The primary water/separator filter is remote mounted and furnished by FCCC while the engine mounted filter comes from the engine manufacturer. For part numbers with their micron ratings see the table below.
Note - The exact start & end dates of mfg. for this 'single filter' situation are under investigation...after 4 months FCCC doesn't seem to know the mfg. start and end dates!
Thanks to several dozen owners who sent me their data on their single fuel filter. Based on your data and other posts on the FCOC Yahoo group, it appears that FCCC started using only a single fuel filter in Jan. 2000 and switched back to the dual filter arrangement in Jan. 2004. So, the single fuel filter configuration probably ran from Jan. 2000 thru 2003.

FCCC Water/Separator Fuel Filters For CAT ENGINE applications Part Numbers Updated 5-28-08
Thanks to Newton Raskin for researching the following info from the RACOR web site.
Please see below, the Racor specs for the 320 series filters that are the same as the Alliance filters Freightliner puts in their chassis. For a good filter reference see - http://www.maesco.com/products/racor/r_spn_intro/r_spn_int/r_spn_int.html
FCCC Primary/Water Separator Filters
* Single Filter Application NOTE - If you only have one fuel filter, then your water/separator should be the S32FRT03 at TWO (2) microns, NOT the S32FRT01 (30 microns) that FTL dealers are used to installing!
For Cummins filters and a comprehensive list of filters, CLICK HERE OR see The FCCC 'Knowing Your Chassis' presentation pg. 16, available on the Tech Tidbits page or on the FCCC web site.
NOTE - The FCCC 'Knowing Your Chassis' presentation shows the FRT01 at 30 microns. Our earlier info here showed 10 microns which apparently was incorrect.
** It appears that the FRT04 was for 2004 only and was changed to the FL02 in Jan. 2005 & 2006.
It appears that Alliance has AGAIN changed part numbers, this time ICW a huge new data base. The older references for Racor filters have mostly disappeared from this new DB so you can't cross reference old filter #s to new ones...nice job FTL!!??@@ FCCC apparently has no control or influence with the corporate truck group who keep changing filter #s repeatedly. Filter confusion still reigns at FTL with their 'Alliance' brand filters!?@
