Proposed revision to the Chapter Bylaws

We are updating our Bylaws

A review of our existing Bylaws was directed last July by President Bill Buck to ensure that all aspects of the rules governing our club were current and relevant.  A select committee was established to conduct the review and several changes were proposed for consideration.  The Executive Board has reviewed the changes and recommends they be presented to the membership during the FMCA International Convention in Perry, Georgia, 16-19 March 2009.

As stated in Article VIII of our current Bylaws, the proposed Bylaws may be amended by a 66 2/3 percent affirmative vote of the members present and voting at a business meeting, providing that prior notice of at least thirty (30) days has been given of the proposition(s) to amend.  As stated above, the next FCOC business meeting will be conducted during the FMCA International Convention in Perry, Georgia, 16-19 March 2009.
